Spray Guide Panel Overview

After the pest, crop and crop stage of interest have been selected the recommended pesticides are shown as individual cards. Each pesticide card displays the following information:

  • chemical name (the orange and green bars to the left of the chemical name indicate whether the pesticide is used for conventional or organic only production, respectively)

  • trade name

  • efficacy = list of pests the pesticide is highly or moderately effective against (hover over the acronyms to see the full name of the pests or click on the links to find more information on each pest)

  • range of pesticide effects on major natural enemies in the color gradient bar

      Each card can be clicked on to see the complete information contained in the WSU Spray Guide including:

      • chemical (or common) name

      • trade name

      • MOA (mode of action)

      • class

      • practice

      • per acre dose

      • REI (re-entry interval)

      • PHI (pre-harvest interval)

      • bee toxicity

      • activity (I = insecticide, A = acaricide, F = fungicide, PGR = plant growth regulator)

      • efficacy against pests (hover over the acronyms to see the full name of the pests or click on the links to find more information on each pest)

      • range of pesticide effects on natural enemies (each natural enemy or beneficial insect listed individually; click on the natural enemy name to find more information)

      • notes and comments
